Carnivale glass was very popular in the 1940's-50's. It was created by applying a layer of gold to the surface of the glass in a process called fuming. (see techniques page)

The effect is a surface iridescence that reflects many refractive colors (similar to dichroic glass)... (this also makes it very difficult to photograph, so if you have any questions on color, just e-mail me)

The next page contains styles that have  13mm stones. (13mm are slightly smaller than a nickel and  9mm are slightly smaller than a dime).

This wraparound ring contains a 9mm Carnivale glass stone and a 5mm matching stone. It is fully adjustable.

I named these "Bearpaws" because they look like little tracks on the trail! A multicolor assortment of Carnivale glass. This one is Jet on the top, Ruby on the bottom, and Topaz on the sides. You can do any combo you choose, but the coolest way is to tell me the main color and let us mix it up!
